Guide for Uploading Photos & Videos

To contribute as a photo & videographer, follow these steps to ensure your submission meets our standards:

Prepare Your Work

Before submitting your photos or videos, ensure they are original, high-quality, and unpublished. We prioritize visually compelling content that aligns with our platform’s themes, such as travel, culture, and exploration. Your work should tell a story, capture emotions, and provide a unique perspective. Ensure your files are properly edited for brightness, contrast, and color balance to enhance their visual appeal.

Follow the Content Structure

A well-organized submission increases the chances of acceptance. When submitting photos, include a brief description of each image, explaining its context, location, and significance. For videos, provide timestamps for key moments, along with a short summary outlining the story or message conveyed. Clearly label all files to ensure a smooth review process.

• Photos: JPEG or PNG format, at least 300 DPI, and a minimum resolution of 1920x1080 pixels.
• Videos: MP4 or MOV format, at least 1080p resolution, and a maximum duration of 5 minutes.
• File Size: Ensure files do not exceed 100MB for photos and 500MB for videos.
• Aspect Ratio: Maintain a standard aspect ratio (16:9 or 4:3 for videos; landscape or portrait for images, depending on content relevance).

Include Necessary Credits & Captions

Every submission should be properly credited. If your work includes identifiable individuals, ensure you have their consent for publication. When applicable, credit locations, artists, or collaborators who contributed to the content. Captions should be concise yet informative, adding context to the visual without distracting from its impact.

Submit & Await Review

Once your content is ready, submit it through our designated portal along with a brief description of your work. Our editorial team will review submissions based on quality, relevance, and originality. If necessary, we may request minor edits or adjustments. The review process typically takes a few days, and you will receive an email notification regarding the status of your submission.

To maintain consistency and professionalism, all visual content must adhere to the following guidelines:

General Structure

• Introduction: Photos and videos should have a clear narrative or theme. Avoid submitting random, unrelated visuals.
• Composition: Use framing, lighting, and focus techniques to create compelling shots. Ensure subjects are well-lit and positioned for maximum impact.
• Editing & Enhancement: Moderate enhancements are acceptable, but excessive filters or unnatural effects should be avoided. Maintain authenticity in every shot.

Photography Guidelines

• Resolution & Clarity: Ensure high-resolution images with sharp details and balanced exposure.
• Themes & Subjects: Prioritize storytelling through landscapes, people, culture, and unique moments.
